BLOGGING

This blog has been very important in my war with the Ministry of Defence, if they were the ultimate culprits.  Remember I had come through a war by 2013 November and my first excursion onto the blogosphere

But this was a Ph.D. in modern times and this called for all forms of attack including declaring Intellectual Property  before someone else did.  I had unpublished data which I wanted preserved, yes, for science and Biomimetics.

When I de-registered, I brought my data with me – no one searched my bags when I left.  I wrote up two papers and a number of posters for presentations that never happened.

For eight years I walked around with three years work on a memory stick, never throwing away my old laptops so that if necessary I could retrieve the data on them.

When I first found blogging and WordPress, I arbitrarily chose a theme and as a beginner to blogging I just purged everything online.  Then I found this theme which admirably suits.  In the beginning it caused quite a stir and I had over 280 hits in the initial days, per day, obviously from around the world.

All this kept the Ph.D. topic alive for me, ready for publication.

My History in Blogging

This was not my first excursion into the internet of information.  While a bored but scared student on campus I used my campus homepage to keep in touch with the outside, detailing my research views and my opinions of the newspapers headlines I was reading.

On my blog I had a fair time especially when I attracted attention successfully, of the press I believe.

I also, unbeknownst to me, attracted the attention of the Vice Chancellor I believe now.  And Zuma and Barack.  And Tony Blair.  But not all of them on a day to day basis like the Vice-Chancellor.  Not when I got political.

I kept copy on cd-rom but all of them have decayed in the box.  Or been interfered with.
